Creative Inspirations new challenge

                           This week's challenge is Anything Goes + An Option of Hearts!

This week's prize is from us which is the chance to be our GUEST DESIGNER FOR MAY!

This is my card design I used Woodware border edger set and mixed papers from first edition.
I went for a Tilda image which I coloured with the below colours, the little heart was made by cutting a heart shape die thought some yellow fabric.I then stamped a background stamp over the top and added a pin. I stamped the message to finish my design.

 I also have a card for you I have made using a Penny Black stamp and some mixed papers from a old Dovecraft pad it's funny the things you find when your having a good tidy in your craft room.  I used the below Spectrum noir pens and the die shape was cut on my cricut machine. Went for the kraft card to give it a soft male feel to my design and a bit of dry embossing and paper punching was done to finish my design.

 New card design

Here is another two cards First I have made this using the free stamps from Quick cards magazine how cute is this!!! I made this card with some super lovely paper from first edition range, I added some kraft card with them to give my design the whole vintage/soft tone feel.

Happy new year one and all have some wonderful news to share......

Over the Christmas holidays I had some fantastic news first I have been chosen to join the Creative Inspirations design team and second I won a cardmaking competition!!!

Today is the first challenge of the year over on the Creative Inspirations blog and this is my first challenge card for them. The theme for this challenge is 'CELEBRATION' so you can make any card as long as it follows this theme. For my card I have used My minds eyes papers, pearls and we each were give a super image to use from Stampfairy. This is the company that are the sponsor for this challenge, and they have kindly given a $10 gift certificate to the lucky winner. 

So dust them craft goodies down and why not came and join in the fun!!!!

My second piece of news is that I found out that I was one of Simply cards and paper-craft cardmker of the year's runner up!!!. You had to send in three different cards and these are the designs I came up with. I used a mix of stamps, punches, papers and materials and still in totally shock that I was a runner up I have won £200 worth of goodies.

FIRST DAY OF THE OLYMPICS AND A NEW CARD DESIGN

I have a new card design for you today made with a Papermania stamp and papers and the card edge was punched using a x-cut punch.I have distressed my paper and image with Tim Hotlz inks and used a sand paper to rough the edges of the paper too. SUNDAY MORNING AND I HAVE TWO NEW CHALLENGE CARDS.

Morning everyone hope your all well? at last we have some lovely sun shiny hope your having a great weekend treated myself to trip to local craft shop yesterday and was really good only brought a pack of card blanks!!!!. Anyway today I have two card to share with you all first is a card I have made with a free stamp that came with a magazine and the papers are Dovecraft. HI EVERYONE HASN'T THE WEATHER JUST BEEN LOVELY HOPE IT HAS BEEN WHERE YOU LIVE STILL HAD A BIT OF TIME TO CRAFT WELL YOU JUST HAVE TO. MY FIRST CARD IS MADE WITH MY FAVOURITE LILY OF THE VALLEY STAMP, I USED DOVECRAFT PAPERS, PEARLS AND PAPERMANIA CARD STOCK TO MAKE MY SWING THEMED CARD.

MY NEXT CARD I WOULD LIKE TO ENTERED FOR THE NEW CHALLENGE OVER ON THE SIRSTAMPALOT BLOG THE THEME THIS MONTH IS 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' AS IT IS THEIR 2ND BIRTHDAY. FOR MY CARD I USED A FIRST EDITION PAPER PAD (DAYDREAMER), ONE OF MY FAVOURITE STAMPS (WHICH I PAPER PIECED TOGETHER), FLOWERS, PEARLS AND A LEAF PUNCH. I 3D MY FLOWERS UP AND ADDED PEARLS TO THE CENTRES. I THEM USED A LITTLE WOODWARE LEAF PUNCH TO FINISH MY DESIGN OFF.HOPE YOU LIKE MY CARDS AND LOOK FORWARD TO READING YOUR COMMENTS THANKS FOR STOPPING BY.

First challenge of the year 

Hi everyone hope your well? thought I would share with you all my first challenge card of the year. This is my design for the new challenge over on the sirstampalot blog. The theme this month is 'Monochromatic', so I went for my favourite colour tones of purple I added a little black card stock to make the colour stand out more. I used a mixture of stamps, including my all time favourite Lili of the valley stamp. Thanks for stopping by and look forward to reading your comments.

QUICK SOMEONE PINCH ME.........

TODAY THE LATEST ISSUE OF CARDMAKING AND PAPERCRAFT CAME OUT AND INSIDE ARE THE RESULTS OF CARDMAKER OF THE YEAR 2011..... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT I HAVE COME 1ST IN THE WOODWARE CATEGORY AND 2ND IN THE D.M.C CATEGORY. I AM IN TOTALLY SHOCK!!!!!!!

HERE IS MY PROJECT I MADE FOR WOODWARE I USED TWO CLEAR STAMP SETS TO MAKE THIS HANGING 3D BIRD CAGE WITH A MATCHING GIFT BOX. I USED MADE MY BIRD CAGE SO IT HAS A BIRD SITTING INSIDE THE CAGE AND ONE THAT HANGS FROM UNDERNEATH, SHOWS GOOD IN MAGAZINE.

AND FOR D.M.C I MADE A COLLAGE EFFECT BACKGROUND WITH PAPERS, AND A FASHION THEMED POSTCARD, I GAVE IT ALL A DISTRESSED LOOK WITH OF COURSE TIM HOLTZ INKS. THEN I MADE MY STITCHED TOPPER AND MADE IT LOOK LIKE ONE OF THE WOODEN RINGS YOU CAN BUY FOR CROSS STITCHING. I USED FIBRES, PEARLS AND BUTTONS AND STITCHED AROUND THE EDGE OF MY CARD. I THINK IN THE NEW YEAR I BEST HAVE A CRAFT ROOM MAKE OVER IF I AM TO MAKE ROOM FOR MORE GOODIES!!!!!!

What a lucky day it's been!!!!!!

Hi everyone hope your well?, thought I would share with you all my wonderful news today a parcel turned up full of lots of yummy Crafttime goodies wow I hear you say where did they come from.... well a while ago Quick cards made easy run a competition where you had to made a easel card and today I found out I was one of the lucky winners!!!!!

This is the card I entered I used my new Kanban stamps and of course one of my favourite Martha punch around the page sets. How lucky am I. The prize includes a mix of glitter papers, ribbons, flowers, glues, bead making kits and three lovely ribbon sets. Think I am going to have fun playing with these new goodies.
Here is a close up look at the topper part of my design I used my Tim Hotlz inks to give the background a snowy effect and then stamped and coloured my image in. I also added glitter to the trees and ground. Off to have a play, and to think of where I going to store it all!!!!!!
