My new look craft room bunting.
Hi everyone thought today I would share with you my new craft room bunting I have made using my scan n cut machine.
I used the heat n bond on the back of some fabrics I brought from hobbycraft and used the machine to cut my letters and the triangle shapes out.
I then sewed two of the triangles together and then used the heat n bond on the back of the letters to stick them onto the triangles.
I then sewed the whole alot onto some wide black ribbon and found so super cute mini tassels to finish my bunting off.
I was really please with my finished project hope you like it too.

One stop craft shop review number four

Hi everyone hope you all well? Today it's time for my fourth review for
Today I thought I would share with you all my thoughts on one of the favouite products I was sent which has to be the Basic Grey 'Hey You' 4" x 6" snippets booklet.
I have found this booklet so handy to have to make my projects up with think I have used something from it on every review I have done so far. So you ask what's so good about it....
Well to start with the price at just £3.15p this is such a great value book and one of thoses staple products to have in your craft stash.. It has 24 printed 65gsm cardstock sheets which each has toppers/messages/quotes and quirky little messages.
There are 2 sheets of twelve designs and I have found these prefect to add the finishing touches to my designs. Another great thing is that all the colour tones to the toppers/message all have been made to work with the rest of the Basic Grey 'Hey you' and 'Hey boy' range and I can see them working for all occasion projects not just mens.
For my card design I have taken one of the topper and used it to make the main focus of my design showing that they work great for when you need a card in a hurry.
I used the 'Hey boy' papers to work with the topper along with some of the Papermania plain cardstock, a Mathra punch around the page set, x-cut dies and a cuttlebug embossing folder.
This just show some times simply designs can be so effective.
Products I have used are

Many thanks for stopping by and hope you like my card design and review.

Hey boy paper pad review
Afternoon fellow crafter's hope your all well?
Today I thought I would share with you all my thoughts on the Basic Grey 'Hey boy' 6x6 paper pad I was sent in my crafting product bundle from onestopcraftshop.
To start with I can say this is one of the good bargin paper pads that are out their for sale right now,
with 36 6x6 sheets in total there is a really good mix of funky and reto themed papers this pad can work for them hard to make male and boy themed projects with no trouble at all.
The paper stock is a nice weight and another major bonus is that the pad contains plain soild coloured sheets that match prefectly with the patterened designs.
The designs themself feature themes like music, trains, bingo and other patterns like dots, lined paper effects and wood grain making this ideal to work with any project you have in mind.
I used some of the papers to make my the design below which I had my Dad in mind when I made it.....

For my card design I used the nice brown toned grid effect paper to mat and layer onto Papermania orange card stock, added little faux stitching and then took one of the matching soild coloured papers from the pad and run it though my embossing machine. As you can see it gave a nice deep emboss and took  the distress ink with no problem. I then used some twine to add a bit of textured, them matted a border on top with the brown grid paper and added a few nail effect chipboard shapes from the 'Hey boy' chipboard set.

I them used a Papermania stamp set called 'Heritage press' to make the suit and tie by using the papers to stamp on and then layed them up I found a pocket watch charm in my stash and some chain and added this for some more detail. I had the idea to turn the suit into a pocket after I saw a topper in the 'Hey you' snippets booklet that had 'list' wrote on top. Thought this would be good to write the things that are great about the man the card was made for. My Dad.
I found some nice matching messages in the 'Hey boy' cardstock/transparenices pack that works so good with the whole 'Hey boy' range.
I added few finshining touches with the button, ribbon and little white pen dots.
Hope you all like my card design and look foward to reading your thoughts.
All the products i have used to make my card can be found now for sale on the onestopcraftshop  site

Time for my second Dt product review...
Hi everyone hope your well? It's time for my second dt product review and project for
Today I thought I would share with you all my thought on the 'Hey you' and 'Hey boy' chipboard shapes.

To start with I can tell you all that for being quite a small packet these Basic Grey chipboard shapes packs have alot of fun different mens themed embelishment in them. Least over 30 per pack. So lots to be crafting with. They also have a nice vintage feel to them as the colours are not to bright , have a nice flat tone to the colours. I would say the' Hey boy' pack has more male themes to them with trucks, planes, records and sport themed embelishments, and the 'Hey you' pack has more frames and messages. Both work really well together.
The chipboard it's self is a nice thick chipboard, so much so I used one to make a 3d glazed brad for my design below. It also has sticky on the back so easy to add to any project.

For my next Dt project I thought I would make a male themed gift and went for a hanging star design.
For my star hanger I used a mix of the Basic Grey papers, toppers from the matching 'Hey you' snippets booklet, chipboards from the 'Hey boy' set, and buttons and brads from the matching embelishment kit. A few gems and peel off were used to finish the design and think this would be nice little gift to send to your dad just so he knows how much you love and care about him.
All the products I have used to make my project can be found for sale now on the
Onestopcraftshop  just click the links below...
Basic Grey Hey boy chipboard shapes
Papermaina gems
Basic Grey embelishments
Basic Grey Hey boy paper pad 6x6

First DT product review and card design made for
one stop craft shop.

Afternoon everyone hope your well? Time for me to share with you all
my first product review and card design using the wonderful products I was sent from
Thought I would start at the beginning with the Papermania
soild cardstock.....

No crafting project can start without a good quailty card stock wheather it's for a
scrapbook page, off the page project or a handmade card. I found the Papermania 6x6 soild cardstock I was sent a really good place to start. With 75 different colours in one handy storage box you can find the prefect colour to work with your project. The cardstock is a nice weight at 216gsm and has a nice flat finish, making this ideal for die cutting, punching, embossing and stamping on. As you can see in the picture above this pack has a wonderful range of colour tones to each colour family, from browns, greens, blues, reds, purples, and oranges. You can find these cardstock pads on the
One stop craft shop website
They have them in 6x6 8x8, 12x12, so a size and price to
 suit all types of crafters.
This is where I started my card design from
and this was the end designs I came up with...
For my card I layed the papers from the 'Hey boy' paper pad with the 'Papermania cardstock',
arranged them on my card front. I used the cardstock to punch the little stars out, as you can see they punched out lovely and crisp. I stamped my image which is a Penny black stamp, coloured it and added to my card. I picked one of the frames from the 'Hey you' chipboard packet, found a travel themed topper in the' Hey you' snippets booklet. I layed them together, stuck to my card front at a angle. I Then found some chipboard shapes in the' Hey you' chipboard packet to make my sentiment, I added the celecbrate one to the top of my design, added the arrow and tag to the side. I used peel off letters to add the words 'and' 'enjoy'. To complete my design I used some of the matching emblishments from the' Hey boy' set. The whole design was pulled together by the fact that the whole 'Basic Grey' 'Hey boy' and 'Hey you' ranges have had their colours matched perfectly to work together.
All these product can be found for sale now on the
'Hey you' and 'Hey Boy' Basic Grey ranges

Thanks for stopping by would love to hear your comments and feedback so please feel
free to leave it for me to read later.
